INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

– The instructions for use to be followed du-
ring the normal operation of the machine are
stated below.
– Make sure that the working area is clear of any
obstacles that may damage the blades (concrete
kerbs, woody residues, different types of waste,
etc.)
– Make sure that the working area if clear of any
obstacles that could be ejected and/or that could
damage the parts of the machine (stones, metal
wire, etc.).
– Make sure that there are no ravines, terrain sub-
ject to landslides or areas posing overturn risks
near the working area.
– If there are ravines, ditches or fixed obstacles,
mark off in a suitable way the limit that should not
be overcome to avoid any risks.
– Be sure that you don't get into the marked off
dangerous zones by mistake.
– DO NOT use the machine near fires or open fla-
mes (for example close to burning brushwood).
– Stop immediately the machine's operation if un-
authorised people get into the areas at risk and
ask them to leave.
– ALWAYS adjust the forward speed of the machi-
ne according to the slope and compactness of
the terrain.
– On sloping terrains, operate the machine at a
low speed, avoid any sudden changes of direc-
tion and move crosswise with respect to the slo-
pe.
– When mowing crosswise, start from the lowest
point and move towards to uppermost point.
– This way of operating reduces the risk
– that the machine overturns when changing direc-
tion.
– When working on extreme slopes where moving
crosswise is not possible, carry out the mowing
operation going uphill.
– When going from one working area to another,
drive the machine on very steep downhill stret-
ches in reverse.
– In this way, the risk that engine oil may overflow
is reduced.
– Stop operating the machine when environmental
conditions affect the field of vision (night time,
rainfall, etc.)
– Make sure that the radiator fins and the protecti-
on grids are clear of any dust or debris build-ups,
as they could hinder the cooling system operati-
on.
– Don't leave the stopped machine in open air for
long periods of time.
– Use a protection cover against sunlight, weather
agents, dirtiness and dust.
– After use, stop the machine in safety conditions
and adopt suitable measures to prevent unaut-
horised people from using the remote control.
– Clean the machine and remove any processing
residues using compressed air.
– Disconnect the batteries using the battery cut-off
switch and store the key in a place accessible to
authorised staff only.
– Always carry out an accurate inspection before
starting any type of work. Make sure there are no
stones, pebbles, concrete, timber or any obstac-
le that could damage the machine while the cut-
ting operation.
– When starting to operate in a new working site,
use the machine with the cutting deck at the ma-
ximum height from the ground to minimise the
risk that the blade could accidentally hit unex-
pected obstacles.
– If the blades hit an unexpected obstacle, move
the machine backward immediately, then switch
off both the machine and remote control.
– Identify the cause of the impact and remove it.
Check the integrity of the cutting assembly and
replace any damaged parts before resuming
work.
– Upon every use, make sure that the machine is
in perfect conditions, both visually and acousti-
cally, and that there are no anomalous vibrat-
ions: in this case, stop working immediately.
