REMAINING RISKS

– Remaining risks are: "All risks remaining though
the protection measures integrated in the de-
sign of the machine have been adopted".
– Every remaining risk is highlighted by a specific
symbol. Some of them are applied near the area
where the risk remains, other in a highly visible
position.
– Objects' ejection: When driving the machine,
the operator must stay in the area shown in the
paragraph „PERIMETER AREAS" keeping a
suitable safety distance to avoid the risk of being
hit.
– Stop immediately to operate the machine if un-
authorised people get into the areas at risk and
ask them to leave.
– Stuck cutting blade: During operation the blade

IMPROPER USES

– Incorrect use: A reasonably predictable use,
different from the one stated in the user manual,
that can result from human behaviour.
– DO NOT allow operators who are not suitably
trained, skilled and authorised to use the machi-
ne.
– DO NOT use the machine if safety devices are
not correctly installed and efficient.
– DO NOT change the constructive and functional
characteristics of the machine.
– DO NOT use or let the machine be used for pur-
poses and/or in a manner that are not mentio-
ned by the manufacturer.
– DO NOT try to crush branches or tree trunks
with a diameter above approximately 7 cm.
– DO NOT work on surfaces with deposits of cut-
ting objects, crushed rock, metal wire, etc. as
they could damage parts of the machine.
– DO NOT mow downhill (but only uphill) on extre-
me slopes where working crosswise is not pos-
sible.
– DO NOT use the machine if scheduled mainte-
nance work has not been regularly performed.
– DO NOT use the machine in environments at
risk for fires and/or explosions.
– DO NOT use the machine as a means to tran-

– In order to avoid serious damages, stop imme-
diately the operation of the machine by pressing
the emergency button.
– Remove the elements that blocked the blade
before resuming operation.
– Machine overturn: It may happen when working
on slopes or terrain subject to landslides. AL-
WAYS adjust the forward speed of the machine
according to the slope and compactness of the
terrain.
– On slopes, use the machine at a low speed and
avoid sudden changes of direction.

– DO NOT carry out any operation when the ma-
chine is working, but ONLY after stopping it in
safety conditions.

stopping it in safety conditions.
– DO NOT leave the machine in a place where it
could be an obstacle or a danger for other peo-
ple.
– Park it in a flat area and on a stable surface.
– DO NOT use the machine on extreme slopes for
long periods of time without making some chan-
ges of direction.
