1 Introduction
The power supply SCALANCE PSP9230PoE has been specially developed for use with the IE switches SCALANCE XP-200.
The coordinated housing shapes enable space-saving installation and efficient use.
SCALANCE PSP9230PoE operates with AC and DC input voltages ranging from 100 V to 250 V and provides two output
voltages: 24 V DC and 54 V DC. This allows parallel supply of PoE devices and non-PoE devices:
• With the 24 V DC output (24 W), the SCALANCE PSP9230PoE can supply components with a 24 V DC supply and L-coded
voltage connections (e.g. SCALANCE XP208, SCALANCE XP216, SIMATIC ET200ECO).
• The SCALANCE PSP9230PoE can supply PoE devices (e.g. SCALANCE XP208PoE and SCALANCE XP216PoE) with the
necessary power via the DC 54 V output (224 W).
The power supply and devices are primarily intended for railroad and factory automation applications.
