Preparation

Using the Lithium Ion Battery Pack

✤ Use SB-LSM80 or SB-LSM160 Battery Pack only.
✤ The Battery Pack may be charged a little at the time of purchase.
Charging the Lithium
Ion Battery Pack
1. Turn the [Power] switch
to [OFF].
2. Attach the Battery Pack to
the Camcorder.
3. Connect the AC Power
adapter (AA-E9 TYPE) to
a wall socket.
4. Connect the DC cable to the DC jack on the Camcorder.

The charging indicator will start to blink, showing that the Battery is
charging.
5. Press and hold the DISPLAY button while charging and
the charging status will be displayed on the LCD screen
for 7 seconds.

The battery charge status is given as reference and is
an estimation. It may differ depending on the Battery
capacity and temperature.
6. When the Battery is fully charged, disconnect the Battery
Pack and the AC Power Adapter from the Camcorder.
Even with the Power switched Off, the Battery Pack will
still discharge.

✤ The continuous recording times in the operating instructions are measured
using a fully charged Battery Pack at 77 °F (25 °C).
✤ Even when the Power switched Off, the Battery Pack will still discharge if it
is left attached to the device.

Lithium-Ionen-Akku verwenden

✤ Verwenden Sie nur Akkus des Typs SB-LSM80 oder SB-LSM160.
✤ Der Akku kann beim Kauf bereits eine geringe Ladung aufweisen.
Lithium-Ionen-Akku aufladen
1. Stellen Sie den
Betriebsart-Wähler auf
[OFF] (Aus).
2. Befestigen Sie den Akku
am Camcorder.
3. Schließen Sie das Netzteil
(Typ AA-E9) an eine
Steckdose an.
4. Verbinden Sie das
Gleichstromkabel des Netzteils mit dem Gleichstromanschluss DC IN des
Camcorders.

5. Durch längeres Drücken der Taste DISPLAY während des

Abweichungen sind je nach Kapazität des Akkus und
Temperatur möglich.
6. Wenn der Akku vollständig aufgeladen ist, lösen Sie das
Anschlusskabel und nehmen den Akku vom Camcorder ab.
Auch bei ausgeschaltetem Gerät entlädt sich der Akku mit
der Zeit.
