Introduction

Thank you for buying one of our high quality
LORCH TIG welding torches.
Our TIG torches are for TIG welding of low-
and high-use materials and are easy to op-
erate.
They are available in a gas-cooled and wa-
ter-cooled version.
For the use of water-cooled TIG welding
torches you require a water circulation -
cooling.
If properly used and maintained our torches
will be productive for a long time. Therefore,
read these operating instructions carefully.
These operating instructions are for expe-
rienced operators only. Do not permit un-
trained persons to install, operate, or main-
tain our TIG welding torches.
Torches must be checked periodically to
reach optimal life span.
The user will have the sole responsibility for
any malfunction as a result of improper use,
faulty maintenance, damage, improper re-
pair or alternation by anyone other than the
manufacturer or a by the manufacturer ap-
proved LORCH service facility.
The TIG welding torch is part of an entire
welding system.
In connection with a matching TIG power
source an electric arc can be produced.
Make sure you read the operating manual
for the LORCH TIG power source before us-
ing our TIG welding torch.

All in this manual mentioned TIG welding
torches are delivered ready for connection
to corresponding LORCH TIG power sourc-

The connection of the LORCH TIG welding
torch includes the machine connection of
the torch, switch connection, gas connec-
tion and for water-cooled torches in addition
coolant connection - forward (blue) and - re-
verse (red).
