DRAINING THE GENERATOR
Drain the gasoline from the fuel tank into an approved container as follows:
1. Turn the engine switch to the ON position, loosen the carburetor drain screw and drain the gasoline from the carburetor into a suitable
tank.
2. Leave the drain bolt loose, remove the spark plug cap, and pull the starter handle 3 to 4 times to drain the fuel from the fuel
pump.
3. Turn the engine switch to the OFF position and tighten the drain screw securely.
LONG-TERM STORAGE OF THE GENERATOR
1. Keep the storage area free from too much moisture and dust.
2. Change the engine oil.
3. Remove the spark plug and pour approximately one tablespoon of engine oil into the cylinder.
4. Crank the engine a few turns to distribute the oil, and reinstall the spark plug.
5. Slowly pull the starter cord until resistance is felt. At this point, the piston will have reached the compression stage and both
the inlet and outlet valves will be closed. Storing the engine in this condition protects it from internal corrosion.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Fault
The engine does not start.

Possible cause
No fuel.
The engine switch is in the OFF

Refuel.
Turn the engine switch to the ON
