5.
GUARANTEE
As of the initial invoice date* of the equipment by PROCOPI BWT Group to the client company,
The tank is guaranteed for 10 years against any loss of leaktightness due to porosity, failure, or cracking
of the material and not attributable to the consquences of an impact, operation at a pressure that does not
comply with recommendations set out in the installation instructions, internal erosion caused by clumping
of the sand or inverted water flow, freezing of the water in the pump, etc.
The removable parts of the filter (laterals, lid, base, drain, pressure gauge, throughwall flanges and
their o-rings, drains, vents, RTM filter neck-O-ring, RTM filter check valves, etc) are covered by a 2 year
guarantee against defects and damage not attributable to abnormal usage**

The aforementioned faulty parts will be replaced, and unless otherwise agreed with PROCOPI BWT
Group, the guarantee covering removable parts will under no circumstances result in replacement of the
whole filter.
2.
The replacement under guarantee of an equipment item or part manufactured or distributed by Procopi
will under no circumstances alter the expiry date of the contractual guarantee covering said equipment
item or part and that is calculated based on the initial invoice date.
**examples of abnormal usage
•
Degradation of materials (seals, etc) in contact with water caused by a concentration of an oxising agent
(chlorine, bromine) that is abnormally high with respect to recommended pool concentrations.
•
Failure to respect the recommended sand grain size
•
Stress-cracking of ABS parts following use of lubricants containing surfactants on their threadings or
unions.
•
Pressure higher than the max operating pressure.
•
Inversion of the water flow caused by an error mounting the pipes on the valve.
•
Filter medium clumped by deposits of limescale, resulting in the creation of one or more channels through
the filter medium.
