WARNING !
Stop the pump before changing the position of the multiport valve. Any damage to the filter resulting
from failure to observe this instruction will result in cancellation of the warranty.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE
IMPORTANT !
Before putting the filter into operation, observe the direction of the water flow. In the «FILTRATION» position
the water should pass from the top to the bottom of the filter. If the pipes were inverted, or if the multiport
valve is faulty, the water will pass from the bottom to the top of the filter. This will quickly and inevitably
damage the filter tank and the laterals. The following indicate inverted pipes::
•
low pressure reading on the pressure gauge
•
sharp drop in the flow even just after a filter backwash and with a clean pump pre-filter
•
pool water remains cloudy
Length of filtration cycles :
The length of the filtration cycle refers to the virtual time taken for the total pool water volume to pass
through the filter. The allowed recycling time for a family sized pool is 6 hours min.
Depending on the water temperature, we recommend the following:
•
below 14°C: 5 to 6 hours per day
•
from 15° C to 23°C: 6 to 8 hours per day
•
above 23°C: 10 to 12 hours per day.
The requried length of the filtration cycle increases with increasing pool usuage and increasing pool water
temperature.
To maximise efficiency, the filter must run during the day (between 8:00 am and 9:00 pm) and, as a rule,
while the pool is in use (one pool user pollutes 3 m³ of water).
