Caution: It is essential to read the Safety Information in Chapter 1 before
starting up.

Checking the package contents

The package contains:
- 2 walkie-talkies with belt clip
- 2 Headsets
- 1 Charger bay
- 2 Car chargers

Inserting the battery packs

Open the battery compartment cover.
Insert the batteries supplied.
Pay attention to correct polarity!
The contacts must be upright!
Close the battery compartment cover.
Note: Alternatively you can use four recharge-
able batteries AAA 1.2 V / 600 mA NiMH.

These rechargeable batteries won't be charged
when the units are placed in the charger bay.
For charging connect the power supply sup-
plied directly to the charge jack located under
the flap on the right hand side of the unit.

Caution: Only use the battery pack supplied or rechargeable batteries of the
specified type.
Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced.
Batteries shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine,fire or the like.
