The
display indicates the
shift
mode:
.
ON LINE - The yellow
LED
flashes.
.
READY - The
green LED
lights.
For
locating the desired address you can shift
the loop forward
or
backward.

Press
the SCAN key
briefly.
The
end point of the loop is shifted in the corresponding direction
by
2
frames.

Hold
the SCAN key down.
The
CD is played
with nominal speed
or
the
laser
jumps backward
at
the same speed.
With these facilities the desired position can be located accurately
and marked.
Quitting the shift mode - Setting the cue point
The
cue point is set where the shift mode
is
terminated.
For
this
purpose press one of the following keys:
r-
PAUSE,
the CD player switches
to pause
mode.
PLAY,
the CD player switches
to
play mode.
2.3.9 Last-Cue
The
CD player is in
play mode
and
you want
to
position
the
laser
on
the cue point.
rr
Press
the
L.CUE
key.
The message CUE is displayed.
The laser positions on
the
last
cue point.
The
cue point can be changed with the following functions:

Numeric keys
+
PLAY, PAUSE
or
INDEX

Shift mode
r
PREVIOUS,
NEXT
This
is
shown on the display.

The
green READY
LED is on
and signals
that
the
laser is
on
the cue point.
