CD Player

Pause
The CD
player interrupts
the playback and changes to
pause
mode.
To resume playback from the current position, press the
PLAY
key.
Next
Press
key briefly: The CD player positions on the
next track.
Hold key down: The subsequent tracks are skipped in ascending
order for as long as this key is pressed or until
the
last
track
is
reached.
The play or pause mode is retained.
Previous
Press key
once: The CD player positions at the start of the
current track.
Press key
twice: The CD player positions at the start of the
previous track.
Hold key down: The tracks are
skipped
in descending order
for
as long as
this
key
is pressed or until the first track
is reached.
The play or pause mode is retained.
Scan >> and Scan
Can
only be activated in
play mode.
Press
Scan >> for searching forward or Scan << for searching
backward. The longer
this
key is
pressed, the faster the scan
speed.
Set
cue point
Can
only be activated in
pause mode.
When
you press Scan >> or Scan << the Shift mode is activated.
Muting is cancelled and
a
sequence (250 ms to 500
ms)
is
repeated endlessly.
Each
time one of these keys is pressed, the end point of the
sequence is shifted by
2
frames. When you hold
this
key down,
PLAY forward or
a
corresponding
skip backward is performed.
As soon as you release the
key,
the current sequence is played
endlessly.
For
terminating the Shift mode and setting the cue point, press
PLAY or
PAUSE.
Start review
This
function can only be activated in
pause mode.
The
CD is played as long as you hold
this
key
down. As soon as
you release this
key
the laser returns to the exact position it was
in before the
key
was pressed.
End review
Can
only be activated in
pause mode.
The
CD player reproduces
a
sequence of 6 seconds, measured from the end of the current
track. As soon as you release this key the
laser returns
to the
exact position it was in before the
key
was pressed.

Last cue
Press
this
key. The laser
positions on the
last
cue point and
switches
to
pause mode.
