2.2.3 Fader
On-air mode
The
fader function
for
remote
controlled start of the CD player
can be activated via
the
parallel
interface. ln this state no manual
control interventions are feasible.

To initiate the fader start close the contact on the parallel
interface.
Refer
to the Section 1.2.1 "Pin assignment, parallel remote".
The
fader start is executed and the CD player changes
to on-air
mode and starts to
play.
The keyboard is disabled. Only the
functions R.TlME, A.PAUSE and A.CUE can be activated.
The
following information is displayed:

ON AIR -
The red LED
is
on and signals that the contact for
the fader start is closed.
.
ON LINE - The
yellow LED is on, the CD player operates
in
play mode.
.
The
red
LED
of
the FADER key is on and signals that the
function is active.
Deactivating the on-air mode
.-
Open
the fader contact on
the
parallel interface.
This cancels the on-air mode and
the keyboard
is reenabled.
