Playing GDs
2.3.1 Load

Press
the
LOAD
key.
The CD
drawer opens. The prompt "load
disc" appears
on
the
display. Proceed as follows:

the
CD

Press
the
LOAD key
or
(.-
Lightly press against the opened drawer front.
The
drawer closes. The CD player reads the CD and
the
laser
is
positioned at the start of the first track.
Caution: To prevent
injury,
do not put your hand into the drawer
while it is closing. lf the drawer cannot be closed normally, it
reopens automatically after two to three seconds. The drawer
can also be opened by pressing
the
LOAD
key.
2.3.2 Play

Press
the
PLAY
key.
The
first
track
of
the CD is played. The display shows:

ON LINE - The yellow LED
is
on,
the CD player is in play
mode.
The
upper line shows
the number
of
the
track and index
being
played.
The MIN and
SEC
fields show
the remaining
playing
time of
the
track in minutes and seconds.
Numeric keypad
-
Selecting
a
specific track
lf
you want
to
play
a
specific track, enter the corresponding
number through
the numeric
keypad.
Assumption: CD player in play mode,
a
track
is
being played.
Press
the key corresponding
to the track number.
For 2-
digit
track numbers first
enter
the tens position and then
the units position.
The
example on
the next
page
shows
that the digit 7 has been entered.
