The
display shows:
The number of the selected
track
is
displayed
in
the TRACK
field for four seconds. The
INDEX
field
is blank,
the
remaining
fields with the time information
do not
change.
Press
the
PLAY key;
the selected
track
is
played.
lf
PLAY
is
not pressed within four seconds, the function
will
be
cancelled
and
the former condition is reestablished.
2.3.3 lndex
The
tracks of a CD can be subdivided into indices.
Assumption: The CD player is in
play mode.

Press
the
INDEX
key.
The laser is positioned at
the next
index
of the current track and
plays
it.
lf
the CD is not subdivided into indices, the error message
"Error" is
output briefly.
lf
the selected index does not exist, the
laser
is positioned at
the last index
of
the current track.
lf
you press
the
INDEX key
in pause mode,
the
laser is also
positioned at the next index or the same error message is output,
however, the pause mode is retained.
Numeric keypad

Selecting a specific
track

you want
to
play
a
specific index, enter the corresponding
number
through the numeric keypad in play or pause mode; the
current mode is retained.
Press
the
key
corresponding to the desired index number.
The number of the selected index
is
displayed
in
the TRACK field
for four seconds.
Press
the
INDEX
key;
the selected index is played

the
INDEX key is
not pressed within four seconds, the function
will
be
cancelled and the former condition is reestablished.
