12. Storage and transportation

•
Store the tool and its accessories out of the
reach of children in a dark and dry place at
above freezing temperature. The ideal sto-
rage temperature is between 5 and 30°C.
•
Always hold the tool with one hand on the
main handle and the other hand on the addi-
tional handle.
•
Do not carry the tool by its motor housing.
•
Secure the tool against slipping if you trans-
port it in a vehicle.
•
If possible, use the original packaging for
transporting the tool.
•
Clean the electric hedge trimmer and carry
out its maintenance before you put it into
storage.
•
During storage or transportation, use the
supplied safety guard for the hedge trimmer
blade.
