The detailed description of the assembly
procedure for the following assemblies can be
found in the servicing instructions for the
EPS 200 or EPS 205 in the section "Replacing the
frequency inverter".
5. Install the TFT display assembly.
6. Assemble the upper housing section.
7. Install the jet chamber unit.
8. Fit the housing components.
9. Attach the safety switch.
10. On an EPS 200: Attach the protective hood.
On an EPS 200 with basic set 1 687 010 397: Attach
the protective cover.

Installing the "EPS200" software

1. Connect the compressed air hose to the EPS 200.
2. Switch on compressed-air supply.
3. Plug the mains plug into an outlet.
4. Switch on the EPS 200 at the main switch.
5. Check the software version of the EPS 200. If the
installed version is the same or higher than that on
the supplied CD with the "EPS 200" software, no
update is necessary.
— In this case, skip this section and continue with
the next section.
6. Connect a USB mouse to a free USB port of the
EPS 200.
7. Connect the DVD drive, e. g. 1 687 023 639 to a free
USB port of the EPS 200.
8. Place CD 1 687 005 050 "EPS200 Software" in the
DVD drive.
9. Start "Windows Explorer".
10. Start 'D:\EPS_SETUP.EXE' (D = DVD drive letter).
 Setup will start.
 The dialog box "Select setup language" is
displayed after a few seconds.
11. Select the set-up assistant language.
12. Select <OK>.
13. Read and follow the instructions on screen.
 "EPS200" software will be installed.

14. End installation with <Complete>.
15. Close "Windows Explorer".
 "EPS200" software is installed.

Configuring the frequency inverter

1. Start the "EPS200" software.
In the "EPS 200" software, the menu item
"Common Rail Injector (Piezo CRI)" appears on
the start screen. This menu item cannot be used
on an EPS 200 without the basic set
1 687 010 397. The menu item "Common Rail
Injector (Piezo CRI)" can be opened, but
because of the absence of accessories a piezo
CRI test cannot be carried out. The failure
indication 3021 "Unknown error" is displayed.
2. Under "Service", select the menu item "Device
parameters".
3. Enter the customer service password and confirm
with <OK>.
4. In the "Frequency inverter" field, select
manufacturer Schneider.
5. Press <F4>.
6. Open the start screen by pressing <F12>.

2.10 Functional testing

1. Start leak checking (see Online Help).
2. If the motor for leak checking starts, the
modification was successful. If the motor does not
start, all connections and the configuration settings
must be checked.
