6. Check the inclination at the left brace on the edge protection frame.
Max. difference in inclination between left and center brace: ≤ 0.6°

Procedure if difference in inclination exceeds 0.6°
If the difference exceeds 0.6° at the left or right brace, the DAS 3000 is severely damaged.
 Provide the customer with a new DAS 3000.
 Return the damaged DAS 3000 to Bosch in the original packaging.

Checking the calibration boards

Checking the DUAL-Board calibration board
1. Inspect calibration boards for visible flaws and dirt on the calibration pattern.
2. Clean the contact surfaces.
3. Inspect the edge protection.
4. Place the electronic spirit level diagonally (from the lower left edge to the upper right edge) on the DUAL -Board.
5. Check whether a gap is visible between the electronic spirit level and camera beam.
6. Measure the gap with a distance gauge.
7. Place the electronic spirit level diagonally (from the upper left edge to the lower right edge) on the DUAL -Board.
8. Check whether a gap is visible between the electronic spirit level and camera beam.
9. Measure the gap with a distance gauge.
Maximum gap between the electronic spirit level and camera beam: > 1.3 mm
10. Replace the DUAL -Board if the gap between the electronic spirit level and camera beam >1.3 mm.

Checking the calibration boards from the Multi-Target Shop
1. Inspect calibration boards for visible flaws and dirt on the calibration pattern.
2. Clean the contact surfaces.
3. Check the calibration boards for warping.
4. Inspect the edge protection.
5. Check the adhesive base for fastening to the slide of the precision measuring bar.
6. Check whether the height of the mounting pins is at least 5-6 mm.
7. Replace damaged calibration boards.
