Before first Use

Remove the chain saw and all accessories out of the packing and
check all parts for damage in transit. Keep packaging materials out of
reach of children. There is risk of suffocation.

Assembling the Guide Bar and the Saw Chain

Always use gloves when handling the chain.
Unplug from power mains before mounting the saw chain on the
machine.
1. Place the chain saw on a level surface.
2. Remove the cover (10) by screwing the quick tensioning screw cap
(9) counter clockwise.
3. Slide the chain around the chain wheel and into the slot of the guide
bar.

Observe the right chain running direction. On the cover you will find
a symbol with chain links. Make sure to correctly position the chain
links, so the links match the symbol. All chain links must be properly
in the guide groove of the guide bar.
4. Re-attach the cover on the motor housing.
5. Now tighten the quick tension screw cap (9) on the housing in order
to tighten the saw chain.
