▪ Never move the chain saw by pulling the cord. Make sure the
cord cannot get caught in any way. Do not bend the cord and
make sure the cord is always behind the machine.
▪ Should the appliance become damaged do not use it and
have it repaired by a professional or contact our customer
support department. Do not disassemble the appliance or try
repairing it yourself.
▪ Keep the power tool by the insulated gripping surfaces, as the
saw chain can come into contact with the own mains cable.
The contact of the saw chain with a live line can put metal
parts of the device under tension and cause an electric shock.
▪ Place the chain saw on the front handle in the off state, the
saw chain away from your body. When transporting or storing
the chain saw, always put on the protective cover. Careful
handling of the chain saw reduces the likelihood of accidental
contact with the running saw chain.
▪ Follow instructions for lubrication, chain tensioning and
changing accessories. An improperly tensioned or lubricated
chain can either rip or increase the risk of kickback.
▪ Keep handles dry, clean and free of oil and grease. Greasy,
oily handles are slippery and cause loss of control.
▪ Switch off the chain saw before releasing the chain brake.
▪ Switch off the machine before putting it down.
▪ Before working on the machine, remove the plug from the
socket.
▪ Only insert the plug into the socket when the machine is
switched off.
▪ Working with the chain saw is only allowed to those who are
well-rested and healthy, i.e. in good physical condition. If you
are tired from work, take a break from work in good time. After
drinking alcohol, do not work with the chain saw.
▪ Do not expose the chain saw to rain or bad weather. Ensure
