[Setting - Other] Screen

At the [Setting] screen, touch the [Other] button to open
the [Setting - Other] screen that presents options for
setting the password, currency, warning displays, and
other settings for the main unit.
[Password] button
Touch this button to open the [Setting - Other -
Password] screen.
• [Shutdown], [Configuration], and [Shop staff only]
buttons
Press one of these buttons to open the entry screens to
set the passwords to shut down the unit, open the
configuration screen, and enter the Staff only mode.
Use the number keys displayed on the screen to enter
the number for the password (range: 0 to 99999999).

Settings
• [Print] and [CD Creation] buttons
Each output service can be protected by having the
system request a password before continuing with
each operation. Touch the [Print] or [CD Creation]
button to open the password setup screen for the
selected output service. The password set with the
[Print] button is also used to cancel printing.
– [ON/OFF] button
When this setting is [ON] for the output service, a
password entry screen opens during operation and a
password is requested . Touch this button to toggle
the setting [ON] (enable password) or [OFF]
(disable password).
– [Setting] button
Touch this button to open the password entry screen
and enter a number for the password (range: 0 to
99999999).
[Local Time] button
Sets the current date and time to print on receipts and
index prints. Touch this button to open the screen for
setting the current date and time. The date and time you
set below prints on indexes and receipts:
• [Year], [Month], [Day], [Hour], [Minute] buttons
To change a setting, touch the desired button, then press
the [+] or [-] button to select the value.
[ScreenSaver] button
Touch this button to open the [Setting - Other -
ScreenSaver] screen where you can make screensaver
settings.
You can set the data interval after which the screensaver
for the initial or printing screen appears. Still images or
movies can be selected as the screensaver for the initial
screen, but only still images can be selected as the
screensaver for the printing screen.
