ELEMENTS DU PANNEAU AVANT

@ POWER (STANDBY/ON) switch
This is the switch for electric power.
ON ue
When set to ON position, power is supplied and the
unit becomes operational.
STANDBY ... When set to STANDBY position, the main power flow
is cut and the unit is no longer fully operational. A
minute
flow of power feeds the unit to maintain
operation readiness.
NOTE:
© The memory will be backed up so long as the power cord is not
unplugged.
° /f the power cord is unplugged, the memory will be retained for
several days.
© When not using the unit for a long period, disconnect the power
cord.
@ CHARACTER/SEARCH button
When receiving an AM broadcast, or when in the FM RT or PS
mode:
Press this button, "INPUT" is displayed, and the mode switches to
manual station name input. (see page 30)
When in the FM PTY mode:
Press this button, "SEARCH" is displayed, and the mode switches to
Program type search. (see page 32)
@ DISPLAY MODE button
Use only during FM reception. Use this to switch between display
modes. Each time you press it, the display changes as follows.
RT mode
....... Displays PS —» RT
PS mode
PTY mode
FREQ mode ...
Displays a frequency.

C'est le commutateur d'alimentation.
ON ............ Lorsqu'il est sur la position ON, l'alimentation
est
fournie et l'unité devient opérationnelle.
STANDBY
... Lorsqu'il est sur la position
d'attente
(STANDBY),
l'alimentation
est
coupée
et
l'unité
n'est
plus
complétement
opérationnelle.
Un courant
minimal
maintient l'appareil prét a fonctionner.
REMARQUE:
e/a mémoire est alimentée tant que le cordon d'alimentation est
branché.
° Si le cordon
d'alimentation
est débranché,
la mémoire
est
conservée pendant plusieurs jours.
e Avant une longue période d'inutilisation, débrancher le cordon
d'alimentation.
@ Touche de caractére/recherche
(CHARACTER/SEARCH)
Lors de la réception d'une émission AM ou quand on est dans les
mode FM RT ou PS:
Appuyer sur la touche, "INPUT" (entrée) est affiché et le mode se
commute sur l'entrée manuelle du nom de station. (voir page 30)
Dans fe mode FM PTY:
Appuyer sur la touche, "SEARCH" (recherche) est affiché et le mode
se commute sur la recherche de type de programme. (voir page 32)
@® Touche de mode d'affichage (DISPLAY MODE)
A n'utiliser que pendant la réception FM. L'utiliser pour commuter
entre les modes
d'affichage. Chaque fois que cette touche
est
enfoncée, l'affichage change comme suit.
Mode RT ........ Affiche PS —» RT
Mode PS
Mode PTY
Mode FREQ ...
Affiche une fréquence.
