WARNING
Danger of explosion!
Improper handling of the appliance
may lead to defl agration/explosion!
■ Never use defrosting sprays. They can
generate explosive gases.
NOTICE
Risk of damage!
When cleaning, please note:
■ Never use harsh, granular, so-
da-based, solvent-based or abrasive

cleaners with a neutral pH.
■ The door seal is sensitive to oil and
grease – the rubber becomes porous
and brittle as a result.
■ The surfaces can be damaged by un-

products only on the outer surfaces.
■ Use only soft cloths.
If possible, defrost the appliance in

low. You can then store the food on the bal-
cony (or similar) while defrosting.
Alternatively, you can wrap up the frozen food
in a thick layer of newspaper and store it in a
cool room or insulated bag.
1. Before defrosting the freezer, further low-
er the temperature of the frozen food by
turning the temperature control dial (9) to
"7" for 3 hours.
2. After that, switch the appliance off by turn-
ing the temperature control dial to "0".
3. Disconnect the mains plug from the sock-
et or switch off the fuse.
4. Remove the chilled food from the fridge
and the frozen food from the freezer com-
partment.
