05 - HOW TO USE

Important: VENTUS 900 and 1500 are supplied with a detachable cable which must be used exclu-
sively for our VENTUS units. Any other use may result in damage and no liability will be accepted.
1. Position the fan heater so that it is upright on a solid surface and at a safe distance from wet en-
vironments and flammable objects.
2. Connect the fan heater to the mains supply.
3. Set the thermostat knob to MAX and run the heater at full power.
4. The fan heater will turn on when any of the power settings are set.
5. Once the room reaches the desired temperature, the heating element will stop working, but the
fan will continue to work. As soon as the temperature is decreased, the heating element will start
working again. The fan heater will now start and stop automatically, maintaining a constant room
temperature.
6. Before turning off the heater, set the thermostat to the MIN position and turn it to the fan position.
Let the unit cool down for two minutes, then you can turn off the unit and unplug it.

06 - CLEANING, CARE AND MAINTENANCE

• Unplug the device from the power outlet and let it cool down before you start cleaning. If the hou-
sing is slightly dirty, clean it with a soft sponge. Dirty parts should be cleaned with a sponge which
has been dipped in <50° C hot water and a mild detergent and then dried with a clean cloth. Make
sure that there is no water in the unit. Do not splash water on the heater. Never use solvents such
as gasoline, etc. to protect the housing.
• Clean and dry the cables and plugs, then you can store them in a plastic bag.
• If you want to stow the heater, let it cool down first. Let the heater dry and store it in a plastic bag.
Place the heater in its original packaging and store it in a dry and well-ventilated place.
