The patient should immediately contact a healthcare professional:
• If there is a change or loss in device functionality, or if the device
shows signs of damage or wear hindering its normal functions.
• If any pain, skin irritation, or unusual reaction occurs with the use of
the device.
The device is for single patient – multiple use.
USAGE
Device Application
1. Open the liner by first unfastening straps and removing the front shell.
Note: Do not remove the air bulb from the liner.
2. While seated, place the leg into the device. The lower leg should be
kept at a 90° angle with the foot and ensure that no gap is in between
the liner heel and the back of the device.
3. Wrap liner securely around the foot and the leg (Fig. 1).
4. Place front shell over ankle making sure that the air bulb is aligned
with the opening (Fig. 2).
5. In the following order, fasten the ankle strap (only applies to the high-
top version), the foot strap, and then the calf strap. Tighten straps
until snug and comfortable. Strap adjustments may be necessary with
changes in lower limb volume
6. Inflate air chambers by pressing "+" on the air bulb, and deflate by
pressing "-". Inflate or deflate until snug (Fig. 3).
Caution: Do not overinflate!
Device Adjustments
Fitting adjustments can be made to the device if desired:
• The toe guard can be trimmed off (Fig. 4, 5) for a better fit or if the
patient has an apical lesion or wound.
• The device circumference around calf can be widened by cutting Flex
Edge (Fig. 6, 7) to accommodate patients with a large calf.

Note: Ensure to remove the calf strap before cutting the Flex Edge
• If the front shell is too long it can be trimmed along a trim line if
present. Remove the front shell from the device, turn it over and cut
along the trim line with a strong pair of scissors. Be careful not to
leave any sharp edges.
Device Removal
Before removing the device, deflate air chambers by pressing "-".
Undo the straps in any order and attach the straps back to themselves.
This will make it easier when fitting the device next time and will prolong
the life of the straps. Open the Liner to lift the foot and lower leg out of
the device.

Cleaning and care
Washing Instructions
Device plastic can be washed with a damp cloth and mild soap.
Remove liner from the device before washing.
• Hand-wash using mild detergent and rinse thoroughly.
• Air dry.
Note: Do not machine-wash, tumble dry, iron, bleach, or wash with fabric
softener.
