ASSEMBLY OF FLOORTEMPERATURE
SENSOR
The floortemperature sensor needs to be inserted in
a ductwork (Ø16 mm) according to EN 61386-1. The
sensoring point needs to be positioned centrical
between two heating cable runs. Distance to heating
cable: 20 mm. Choose position for placing thermostat
"MCS-450 WiFi Touch". Install a terminal box for flush
mounting. Lead cable for energy supply of thermostat
into this box. Cable type: E.g. NYM-J, 3 x 1.5 mm², acc. to
EN 13501-6 and EN 60032-1-2. This connection requires
a separate fuse for nominal current 10/16 A (depending
on system size) and earth leakage current braker (LCB)
with 30 mA release current. During Installation, the
ductwork should not be kinked or pressed. The sensor
should be able to move easily.

Set the energy supply to
power-off. Separate the
backside of the thermos-
tat from display.
Observe the advice as
shown in WIRING and
CONNECTION HEA-
TING SYSTEMS.
Insert the backside into
termination box.
CONNECTING HEATING SYSTEMS
For the electrical wiring of the thermostat and heating
system skilled workers or instructed personnel is
required. This is indispensable necessary for the
electrical connection to energy supply. The attainment
of national, international or regional regulations is
presupposed. Check ahead of wiring the compatibility
between product features and status of e.g. energy
supply and safety.
In case of more than one heating unit will be connec-
ted to thermostat, the assembly of a separate termina-
tion box for junction of cold lead-in cables is required.
For operating one heating unit: Direct connection to
thermostat "MCS-450 WiFi Touch".
The two leads are connected to terminals 1 and 2.
Energy supply (brown, blue) on terminals 3 and 4. Earth
leads of heating system and energy supply are directly
connected by separate terminal clamp (not scope of
delivery).
The leads of floortemperature sensor are terminated
on terminal 5 and 6 (no polarity). In case of two or
more heating systems to be connected to thermostat,
