1 – The insect killer FLY AWAY PORTABLE INSECTKILLER
The electronic insect killer PORTABLE INSECTKILLER attracts small flies and flying biting
insects to their ultra-violet light. On their way to the lamp, the insects fly against an
electrically charged grid which destroys them quickly, hygienically and painlessly.
2 – Description
3 - Placement
A generally good place to put down is 1 to 3 metres above the floor. The ultra-violet light
attracts the flying insects, so don't place it near other sources of light. The darkest place
gives the best result. Also make sure that there are no obstacles in the insects' flying route
towards the lamp. Place the apparatus always at a distance of people or food, so that you
don't give them a chance to come near. Keep windows and doors closed as much as
possible. Insects hate draughts. Don't place the apparatus near an open window or door.
4 - Use
Remove all the packing materials.
Open the battery-compartment on the bottom of the equipment, take the batteryhouse out
and fill it with 4 alkaline batteries, type LR20. Connect + to + and – to -!
Place the device on a safe, stable base. Make sure that the device is out of the reach of
children.
As soon as you push the ON/OFF-button now, the device will start to operate. By pressing
the button again you turn it off.
Before moving, cleaning or doing any maintenance on the device, always first turn off the
unit and take the batteries out of the compartment.
