Important safety recommendations
Although the induction cooktop features high quality and safety standards, injuries or damage due to operating
errors or improper use cannot be ruled out. Please note the safety recommendations marked by the following
symbols:

General safety recommendations
Danger!
Do not place any metallic objects such as utensils on the heating surface. They could heat up and cause
severe burns.
Danger!
Never touch the heating surface. It heats up which can cause burns.
Danger!
Do not place firmly closed containers such as canned goods on the warming tray. They can explode and
cause major injuries and damage.
Danger!
Keep the warming tray clean at all times. Follow the cleaning directions in Chapter 6 and the local hygiene
regulations. Failure to observe them can lead to slight to severe injuries.
caution!
The warming tray must be at a sufficient distance from flammable materials. Sufficient ventilation must
be ensured. In any event, the local fire and building code regulations must be observed.
caution!
Simmering pots must be watched closely, as the liquid can boil away without being noticed.
caution!
If you use other electric appliances near the warming tray surface, ensure that the power cords do not
come into contact with hot surfaces.
caution!
Do not place aluminum foil or plastic objects or other non heat-resistant materials on the ceramic
surface.
