General Information

Before operating this tool it is essential to make sure to read this manual first and to under-
stand and observe it. Then store the manual in a convenient place to make it accessible to
each user of this device.
General safety notes and personal safety
The device may only be operated by competent persons who understand the instructions
and follow them. The user must be physically able to operate this device.
The pneumatically driven ratchets 5350 4400 had been developed for special applications.
FÖRCH indicates that this tool may not be modified for other uses.
For injuries and damages that result from improper use, as well as when the tool is used
diverted from its intended use, FÖRCH does not assume any liability nor warranty.
In addition, the accident prevention regulations, as well as the general safety regulations,
applicable to the range of use for this tool have to be observed.

Safety regulations

■ Never direct pneumatic tools against people, animals or yourself
■
Never leave the connected pneumatic ratchet unattended
■
Never let the device run unloaded
■ Pay attention to the reaction torque
■
Ensure a stable stand
■
Pneumatic tools must not get in contact with power sources
■ Do not exceed the indicated maximum operating pressure
■
Control the hose connection for good fit
■
Do not use damaged, worn-out or low-grade pressure hoses
■ Disconnect pneumatic tools only at zero pressure
■
Only use dry, clean air
■
Only use the spare parts recommended by FÖRCH
■
Do not carry the connected tool at the operating lever
■ Never carry the connected tool at the pressure hose
■
Avoid unintentional operation
■
Never use the pneumatic ratchet under drug or alcohol influence
■ Marking of the device must always be easily readable
■
The pneumatic tool may only be operated and maintained by trained personnel
■
Do not grab at the ratchet head resp. for something in the surrounding working area
■ Only change the ratchet nut or extension when air hose is disconnected
■
Permanent vibration can result in health problems
■
In case of leakage or other malfunction of the device, it has to be disconnected from the
compressed air supply
