• ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

The fan is packaged with its base and/or other parts disassembled. You must assem-
ble them before operating the fan.
o
WARNING: Never operate without its base and/or other parts assembled. Do operate
the fan only in upright position; any other position could create a hazardous situation.
o
Assemble sequence of the base and other parts as follows:
▪ Unpack the fan and remove all the parts from the packaging.
▪ Loosen the fixing nut (1) from the lower part of the column (2), insert the lower
part through the base (3) and tighten it again from below with the fixing nut (1).
▪ Insert the middle part of the column (4) into the lower part of the column (2) until
it clicks into place.
▪ Snap the upper part of the column (5) into the middle part of the column (4).
▪ Loosen the two fixing nuts for the fan wheel (6) and the rear guard grille (7) from
the motor (8).
▪ IMPORTANT: To prevent loosening of the fan wheel fixing nut during operation,
the front fixing nut (6) loosens clockwise.
▪ Disassemble the grille basket (9) and fit the rear guard grille (10) onto the motor
(8), noting the three locating pegs.
▪ Secure the rear guard grille (10) with the large hexagon nut (7).
▪ Slide the fan wheel (11) onto the drive shaft (12).
▪ IMPORTANT: Make sure that the two driving pins of the drive shaft must be in
the recesses of the fan wheel.
▪ Fasten the fan wheel (11) by turning the fixing nut (6) anticlockwise.
▪ Mount the grille basket (9) by placing it on the rear protective grille (10) and fixing
it with the screw (13).
