1 INSTALLATION
Instructions which must be followed by the drive and home automation professional installing the drive:
- Methods of wiring are given by national standards or IEC60364 standard.
- Cables which pass through a metal wall must be protected and isolated using a sheath or sleeve. The cable may only be connected
to the motor by qualified personnel. The connector is to be assembled without damaging the contacts. The continuity of the earth
connection must be ensured.
- The "RECEPTEUR HZ", designed exclusively for roller shutters, must be installed in the roller shutter box, which must be com-
pletely closed before power is switched on.
Protection device: No integrated protection device. A suitable 16A all-pole cut-off device must be installed upstream in the electrical
installation in accordance with the wiring rules (minimum contact opening distance of 3.5 mm).- Glow wire temperature: 750 °C -
Proof tracking index: ≥100 V.
Recommendations:
- Hz receivers are designed for use in 150 to 205-mm Mini 45° SIMBAC® consoles.
- Keep a minimum distance of 20 cm between two Hz receivers. Keep a minimum distance of 30 cm between Hz receivers and Hz
transmitters. Hz receivers should preferably be placed at a minimum height of 1.5 m from the floor.
- Do not roll up or cut the antenna of an Hz receiver. Do not immerse Hz receivers in water.
- While assembling the casing, take care not to drill through the Hz receiver.
- A radio appliance using the same frequency (433,42MHz) may deteriorate our product's performance (ex.: hi-fi radio headphones).
