Cleaning the water tank:
1. Unscrew the cap of the tank by turning it
counter-clockwise and then remove it.
2. Pour a few drops of vinegar into the wa-
ter tank. Next, pour around 250 ml of cold
drinking water into the tank.
3. Close the tank cap firmly by turning clock-
wise. Shake the tank several times.
4. Unscrew the cap of the tank by turning it
counter-clockwise, then empty out the wa-
ter and vinegar solution.
5. Fill the water tank completely with cold
drinking water from the tap.
6. Rinse a few times and dry carefully.
Cleaning the water duct:
1. Remove the steam duct as outlined in the
paragraph entitled "Removal and assembly
of the steam duct unit (13 + 14 + 15)"
2. If there are limescale encrustations in the
water duct, soak the corner of a soft cloth
in a small amount of vinegar and use it to
clean the duct.
3. Rinse out the water duct with cold drinking
water from the tap.
External cleaning of the appliance
Clean the outer parts of the appliance using
a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive products,
alcohol, solvents or similar products, which
may cause permanent damage to the outer
surface of the appliance.
WARNING!
• Do not immerse the appliance in water or
any other liquid. Do not place the appliance
under water or use near jets of water; if elec-
trical parts come into contact with water,
do not use the appliance and contact your
dealer or a service centre authorised by the
distributor, Artsana S.p.A.
• Keep the power cable (16) well away from
water.
• Do not scrape the heating unit (12) and do
not use chemicals or abrasives to clean it.
• Do not place any part of the appliance in the
dishwasher.
• Do not leave water in the tank when the ap-
pliance is not in use.
• Empty and clean the humidifier before stor-
ing it. Clean the humidifier before using it
again.
