7. Starting

The following instructions describe how to start up the electric wheelbarrow.
First charge:
The battery of the electric wheelbarrow must remain on the charger for approx. 10-12 hours during the first
charge to ensure that the battery is fully charged.
Switching on:
Insert the key into the lock and turn it to a horizontal position (Fig. 1). The "ON" LED lights up on the thumb
lever display (fig. 2).
The LED charge level indicator (fig. 3) shows the battery status.

Driving:
Press the thumb lever to set the speed. To drive, push it through slowly and select the desired speed (fig. 4).
A differential in the gearbox makes it easy to steer the electric wheelbarrow in the desired direction of travel.
By pressing the changeover switch (fig. 5), the direction of travel can be selected (forward - reverse).

Electric brake:
The motor of the electric wheelbarrow is blocked by a magnet. When the thumb lever is pressed, the brake is
automatically activated or deactivated. This prevents the wheelbarrow from rolling away when stationary.
ATTENTION: If the electric wheelbarrow is standing across a slope, the castors always turn downhill. A safe
standing by the electric brake is only guaranteed if the ground is non-slip and the tyres have a safe "grip" on
the ground.
For slopes of more than 15%, we recommend an additional wheel wedge.
