Note:
Due to the high sensitivity the reading sometimes shows random values if
the test leads are not connected to any signal. The reading stabilizes when
the test leads are connected to the circuit to be tested.
Do not use the device near strong magnetic fields (for e.g. welding
transformer), as this can distort the display.
Data hold
If the reading could not be read during measurement due to difficult operation
the „HOLD"-button could be pressed to freeze the display reading.
1. Press the „HOLD"-button to freeze the display reading.
2. The display shows the „HOLD"-symbol to indicate the activated HOLD
function.
3. Press the „HOLD"-button again to return to standard operation.
Backlight
To turn the backlight on or off, press for two seconds the button
(Automatically switches off after 60 seconds.)
Auto power off
After switching on, the device is in DC mode. The functions alternating current,
direct current, AC voltage, DC voltage and resistance are automatically
detected.
If no further measurements are carried out, the device switches off
automatically after 10 minutes. Two minutes and one minute before switching
off, you'll hear a beep.
Press the SEL/NCV button while you turn on the device. This disables the
automatic shutdown.
To turn off the device manually, press the main switch (1) for two seconds.
