SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
TWIST ist ein magnet-mechanisches Haltersystem aus base (Abb. A) und
connector (Abb. B).
Die Nutzung von TWIST uni base darf ausschließlich in Verbindung mit den
dafür vorgesehenen TWIST-Originalprodukten erfolgen. Die magnet-mecha-

nische Einrastung kann sonst nicht erfolgen.
TWIST uni base darf nicht an solchen Stellen am Fahrrad montiert werden,
up welche die Fahrtsicherheit beeinträchtigen können.
Hinweis: Bitte beachten Sie hierzu auch die dem jeweiligen TWIST module
beiligenden Sicherheitshinweise.
Prüfen sie vor jeder Benutzung, ob das TWIST module richtig eingerastet und
TWIST uni base frei von Verschmutzungen ist! Sollten Mängel gleich welcher
Art auftreten, stellen Sie die Benutzung umgehend ein und kontaktieren Sie
ihren Fachhändler!

TWIST uni base ist für die Montage und Benutzung an Fahrrädern ohne her-
stellerseitig vorgesehene Gewindebuchsen geeignet.
Achten Sie bei der Montage darauf, dass die Pfeile und die Markierung „up"
up
in die Richtung zeigen in der Sie Ihr TWIST module ablegen wollen (Abb. C).
Bringen Sie die TWIST uni base an dem von Ihnen gewünschten Bereich an
(Abb. E), indem Sie das elastische Band um das Rohr legen und durch die dafür
vorgesehene Öffnung am Verschluss ziehen (Abb. D). Achten Sie darauf, dass
das Band festsitzt und ein Drehen und Verrutschen der TWIST uni base nicht
erfolgen kann.
Hinweis: Berücksichtigen Sie die Angaben Ihres Fahrradherstellers (ins-
besondere bei Carbon-Rahmen). Gegebenenfalls kann eine eigenmächtige
Montage von Zubehörteilen die Garantieleistung des Fahrradherstellers
beeinflussen!
Wenn Sie sich bei der Montage unsicher sind, bitten Sie ihren Fachhändler
um Rat.
BENUTZUNG

Machen Sie sich vor Fahrtantritt mit der Handhabung des TWIST-Kopplungs-
systems vertraut und überprüfen Sie dessen einwandfreie Funktion. Verge-
wissern Sie sich, ob die Montage ordnungsgemäß erfolgt ist und die TWIST
uni base so fest sitzt, dass sie sich weder drehen noch verrutschen kann.
TWIST uni base ist die variable base für alle TWIST modules. TWIST modules
sind im Einzelhandel erhältlich.
Hinweis: Bitte beachten Sie auch die dem jeweiligen TWIST module bei-
liegende Gebrauchsanweisung!
BESTIMMUNGSGEMÄSSE VERWENDUNG
TWIST uni base ist für die Montage und Nutzung an Fahrrädern ohne herstel-
lerseitig vorgesehene Gewindebuchsen im Bereich gerader Hauptrahmenroh-
re (27-80 mm Durchmesser) vorgesehen.
Jede von der bestimmungsgemäßen Verwendung abweichende Benutzung
gilt als bestimmungswidrig und ist untersagt, da es ansonsten zu Fehlfunktio-
nen, Beschädigungen oder Verletzungen führen kann.
ENTSORGUNG
Die TWIST uni base kann im Hausmüll entsorgt werden. Beachten Sie die in
Ihrem Land geltenden Umweltvorschriften hinsichtlich der Entsorgung.
HAFTUNG
Wir haben alle Anstrengungen unternommen, um die Gebrauchsanweisung
richtig, vollständig und so exakt wie möglich zu gestalten. Abweichungen
können nicht vollständig ausgeschlossen werden, sodass für Fehler in der

Please read these instructions carefully before assembly and first use and
keep them for later use!
SAFETY INFORMATION
TWIST is a magnetic-mechanical mounting system consisting of a base (Fig.
A) and a connector (Fig. B).
The TWIST uni base may only be used in conjunction with the original
TWIST products intended for this purpose. Otherwise mechanical engage-
ment would not be possible.
The TWIST uni base is not to be installed in such places on the bicycle which
could impair safe cycling.
Note: Please also observe the usage instructions included with the re-
spective TWIST module.
Check before every use that the TWIST module is correctly locked in place
and the TWIST uni base is free from dirt. If a defect of any kind should be-
come evident, stop using the product immediately and contact your Fidlock
dealer!

INSTALLATION
TWIST uni base is suitable for installation and use on bicycles without man-
ufacturer-provided threaded inserts.
During installation, ensure that the arrows and "up" markings point in the
direction in which you want to align your TWIST module (Fig. C).
Attach the TWIST uni base to the area of your choice (Fig. E), by placing the
elastic band around the tube and pulling it through the holes provided on the
lock (Fig. D). Make sure that the band is fastened tightly and the TWIST uni
base cannot rotate or slip.
Note: Take into account any information provided by your bicycle man-
ufacturer (especially for carbon frames) In some cases, unauthorised
installation of accessories can affect the bicycle manufacturer's warranty.
If you are unsure about the installation of the product, consult your Fidlock
dealer for advice.
USE
Before setting out, familiarize yourself with the operation of the TWIST
coupling system and check that it is working properly. Make sure that the
product has been properly installed and the TWIST uni base is tight enough
that it cannot rotate or slip.
TWIST uni base is the versatile base for all TWIST modules. TWIST modules
are available in all good retailers.
Note: Please also observe the usage instructions included with the re-
spective TWIST module.
INTENDED USE
TWIST uni base is intended for installation and use on bicycles without man-
ufacturer-provided threaded inserts (BCM 64) in sections with straight main
frame tubes (27-80 mm diameter). Any use other than the intended use is
considered improper use and should be avoided, as it can lead to malfunc-
tion, damage or injury.
DISPOSAL
The TWIST uni base can be disposed of with household waste. Please ob-
serve the relevant environmental regulations regarding waste disposal in
your country.
LIABILITY
We have gone to great lengths to ensure that the operating instructions are
correct, complete and as precise as possible. However, deviations cannot be
entirely ruled out, and no liability can be accepted for errors in the provided
operating instructions.
We accept no liability for damage resulting from failure to heed the operating
instructions.
If the TWIST uni base is used improperly or for another purpose or is repaired
by the user, no liability is accepted for any damages.
