Hold the guide bar with the nose upwards and place
the saw chain so on sprocket of the guide bar engage
into the chain links and the bottom sections of the drive
links are situated in the groove of the bar. The chain is
correctly tensioned when it is still possible to raise it
by 3-4 mm. The direction of rotation of the saw chain
is indicated by two arrows on the drive-sprocket cover.
Chain and chain bar assembly.
1. Unpack all parts carefully.
2. Place the chain saw on any suitable flat surface
with the motor facing downwards.
3. Remove the side cover by turning the knob
counterclockwise in the direction shown by the
side cover.
4. Install the chain (b) on the drive sprocket (a) and
guide the guide bar (c) with one hand so that the
fastening bolt (d) is inserted into the slot in the
retaining plate(e) on the guide rod.
CAUTION

The edge of the chain is facing the direction of the
arrow indicated on the housing.

5. Hold the guide plate in your right hand and pull
outward so that the guide plate is close to the
housing and the chain is tensioned, place the side
cover on the housing with the left hand, turn the
knob clockwise, turn the fastening bolt into the nut
in the knob, tighten until the side cover presses
the guide plate with the guide plate is not skewed.
CAUTION

The knob should not be too tight, and the base
of the knob should be able to rotate smoothly,
otherwise the tensioning adjustment of the chain
will be affected.
6. Turn the knob base, so that the bending buckle of
the fixing plate on the guide plate is inserted into
the tensioning plate slot on the side cover(The
internal structure of the correct buckle is shown
below).
