Maintenance of the filter (Pos� 3)

Place the filter (Pos. 3) on a
lamp to detect any
contamination.
Note: Placing the filter on
a lamp can cause very fine
contamination between
the individual wire loops to
become visible.
Î
Then decide which cleaning method (Page 31) to use or whether you will replace the
filter.
Cleaning method for coarse contamination
Î
Remove coarse
contamination by blowing out
the filter with compressed air.
Apply pressure to the filter
via the inner side, against the
flow direction (Pos. 3).
Î
Remove any residual
contamination on the outside
with a brush.
