Installation

Prerequisites
The following utilities are required to operate the device:
● Mains socket for connection to the mains.
● Water tap with 3/8" or 3/4" external thread for con-
nection to the water supply.
Attaching the attachment kits
1. Attach the attachment kits ordered for the device to
the device.

The installation for each attachment kit is described in
separate installation instructions enclosed with the at-
tachment kit

Do not remove the side parts, the lid or the circuit board

During initial installation and any repairs that involve the
replacement of accessory parts, make sure only parts
approved by KÄRCHER (filter, mains cable, connection
kit, CO2 pressure regulator (depending on equipment))

Connection as tabletop device
1. Attach the table-top attachment kit (2.644-180.0) ac-
cording to the enclosed installation instructions.
2. Run the rinsing hose to the siphon on the building
side.
3. Run a hose from the drip tray drain to the siphon.
4. If no waste water drain is available, use the attach-
ment kit can WPD (2.644-183.0).
a Connect the rinsing hose and the drip tray drain
to the screw cap of the can.
b Connect the fill level sensor cable to connector
X27 on the device.

Connection with stand
1. The stand attachment kit (white: 2.643-883.0, black:
2.643-884.0), if needed, also use the cup dispenser
attachment kit (2.644-181.0) and the additional cool-
er attachment kit (2.644-204.0). Attach the attach-
ment kits according to the enclosed installation
instructions.
2. Run the rinsing hose through the stand to the siphon
on the building side.
3. Attach an angle piece to the drip tray drain.
4. Run a hose through the stand from the elbow to the
siphon.
5. If no waste water drain is available, use the attach-
ment kit can WPD (2.644-183.0).
a Connect the rinsing hose and the drip tray drain
to the screw cap of the can.
b Connect the fill level sensor cable to connector
X27 on the device.
Connecting utilities
1. Connect the water inlet hose to the water connec-
tion on the back of the device using the enclosed
connection kit.
2. Connect the water supply hose to the tap of the
building installation (if necessary, connect additional
components).
3. Connect the mains cable to the power supply on
rear of device.
4. Connect the CO
connection hose to the CO
2
nection.

Initial start-up

1. Pull out the drip tray.

2. Press the unlocking button and open the device
door.
Inserting the filter
1.
Pull out the drip tray.
2. Open the device door.
WARNING
Health risk
Germs introduced into the device can contaminate the
water.
Pay special attention to hygiene and cleanliness when
replacing the filter cartridges.
Do not touch the connections and holders of the filters.
Wear sterile disposable gloves when changing filters.
Do not mix up the filters, observe the colour markings.
3. Do not touch the marked areas.

4. Turn the cap to the left and pull it off downwards.

5. Turn the filter so that the handle is on the left side
and insert it from below into the corresponding hold-
er.

6. Turn the filter to the right as far as it will go.
7. Check the installation position: The markings on the
label of the holder and on the filter must be aligned.
