REPAIR AND CLEANING PROCEDURE
AIR MOTOR PACKING NUT (FIG. 7)
1. Separate air motor from the pump.
2. Unscrew the bolts (39) and remove the flange (40).
3. Open the circlip (38) and remove the air motor packing nut (47).
4. Replace th O-ring (45), slide ring (48) and U-ring (46). Be carefull, fit
U-ring (46) with lips facing up.
5. Reassemble inverse order, applying thread locker in threads.
6. All there seals are included in the available kit 754904.
CLEAN OR REPLACE THE FOOT VALVE (FIG. 8)
1. Place the main pump tube (73) in a vice use a strap or chain wrench
to unscrew the foot valve body (76) from the tube. Do not damage
the tube by over tightening the vice.
2. Remove the inlet valve ball stop (74), now you can remove the ball
(75). Examine the ball (75) and the seat in foot valve (76) for any
damage. Replace if it is necessary.
3. Fit a new o-seal (57) and new back-up ring (56).
4. Assembly the foot valve following this section, reversing each step.
