3. Preparing and setting up
3.1 SETTING UP AND CONNECTING THE PLATE
1. Select a suitable setup location for the device:
- with at least 2 m (6.6 ft) clearance around the device,
- floor stable, level, clean and with protective underlay
2. Align the feet of the device so that it is absolutely level and safe.
For this, if necessary, turn at least one foot in or out a few tenths of an inch.
3. Connect the electrical power cable to the device and the other end to the wall socket.
3.2 PREPARING THE REMOTE CONTROL BATTERIES
1. Open the cover on the back of the remote control.
2. If present, remove discharged batteries and dispose of them according to the locally applicable rules.
3. Insert two batteries of the type AAA ("Micro"; "R03") with proper polarity. For the polarity, observe the
symbols on the remote controls housing.
4. Close the cover. Check the function of the remote control.
