Splint is used for non-operative cor-
rection of the metatarsophalangeal
joint of the big toe for users expe-
riencing Hallux Valgus, bony lump
formation and other deformities of the
big toe, as well as for providing stabil-
isation after Hallux Valgus surgery.
Important information
– The initial fitting and adjustment of
the product as well as instructions
on its proper and safe use should
be provided by trained medical/or-
thopaedic specialists.
– The product should only be used
for the indications in the adjacent
column.
– Ensure that the product fits correctly
and check it before each use for
functionality, wear and damage
(e.g. breaks, tears or deformations).
A damaged product may no longer
be worn.
– Wear the product directly on the
skin. It should only be worn over in-
tact skin. If it is to be worn in com-
bination with other products, please
discuss this with your doctor first.
– If you experience an unpleasant
sensation, severe pain or other
symptoms while wearing the prod-
uct, remove it and contact your
doctor or specialist supplier.
– We use a comprehensive quality as-
surance system to check our prod-
ucts. If you have any complaints,
however, please contact your spe-
cialist supplier.

Instructions for care

– The product should be washed
before its first use and then on a
regular basis.
– The splint can be cleaned using a
damp cloth.
– To maintain the quality of your
product, please do not use any che-
mical cleaning products, bleaches,
petrol or fabric softener on it. Do
not apply any fatty or acidic creams,
ointments or lotions to the skin in
the area where the product is used.
These substances may damage the
material.
– Store the product in a dry place and
protect it from sunlight and heat,
preferably in the original packaging.
