The Saigon is an electric bicycle that offers pedal assistance
via an electric motor. This feature is controlled by the
handlebar speed controller, which provides 5 levels of
assistance.
Following the legal requirements of Europe (168/2013, article
2, (2) h) the electrical pedal assistance is programmed to
disable when the bike reaches a speed of 25km/h. However,
you may still pedal above 25km/h with no additional
resistance from the electrical motor.
When riding the Saigon, we highly recommend that you
always wear the appropriate safety equipment (helmet,
gloves, glasses, etc.).
1.1. Intended use & permitted load

Your Saigon is designed for city usage and to
carry one person on paved or asphalt roads in
relatively flat areas. The total permitted load
on the bicycle is 125kg including the cyclist,
the accessories and luggage.
The Saigon is not designed for the following:
• Racing or competition purposes
• Cycling in heavy rain or flooded areas
• Off-road cycling or any rough/partially rough terrain
• Charging the bike outdoors in wet or excessively hot
condition
• Cleaning the bike using highly pressurized water jets
(anything above 6000 PSI)
The intended use is further limited by:
• The safety instruction in this user manual
• The "Technical Specifications" chapter in this manual
• The specific road traffic regulations of the country of
operation
Use of the vehicle is not recommended for the following:
• People with limited physical, sensory or mental abilities
• People who cannot operate the vehicle safety due to their
height or weight
• Any modifications that increase motor performance such
as increasing the maximum assistance speed. This may
put your safety at risk which may result in regulatory or
criminal consequences.
This electrical bicycle accelerates faster than a bicycle.
Always bear in mind that other road users cannot anticipate
your acceleration capacity.
It is highly recommended to get accustomed to the
acceleration, handling and braking of the E-Bike on empty
roads before using crowded public roads.

Please verify your countries specific requirements concerning
lighting and ensure you install the appropriate passive
reflectors and compliant lights (front & rear) on the bike.
