Safety

Never put your fingers in the bean slicer or feed tube. Always use the pusher to push food down the
feed tube.

Never remove the lid until the cutting plate has completely stopped.

Handle cutting plates with care - they are extremely sharp.

Keep children away from the machine.

The cutting plates available (fig 2)
To buy a plate not included in your pack, contact the dealer from whom you purchased your appliance.
a
thick slicer/shredder (it's reversible)
b
thin slicer/shredder (it's reversible)
Plates a and b:
one side slices cheese, potato, carrot, cabbage, courgette, beetroot, onion, apple;
the other side shreds cheese, carrot, potato and foods of a similar texture.
Your chosen cutting side must be uppermost.
c
extra-coarse shredder
coarsely shreds cheese and carrot.
d
rasping plate
grates parmesan cheese, and potato for German potato dumplings.
e
standard chipper
cuts: potatoes for thin French fries; ingredients for casseroles and dips (eg swede, cucumber, apple,
pear).
f
thin chipper
cuts: potatoes for super-thin French fries; ingredients for salads, garnishes, casseroles and stir fries
(eg carrot, swede, courgette, cucumber, apple).
Before using for the first time
Dismantle your slicer/shredder (figs 3, 4, 5) then wash the parts; see 'Cleaning'.
