8. Assembly / Before commissioning

m ATTENTION!
Always make sure the device is fully assembled
before commissioning!
Steering rod (Fig. 3+4)
• Position the bottom handle (34) against the left and
right side of the machine.
• Align the holes on the side parts and secure the
bottom handle (34) with the screws (A).
• Raise the steering rod (33) into the operating posi-
tion, align the holes and secure it with the screws (B).
Scraper bar (Fig. 5)
• Position the machine on a level surface.
• Support the feed screw blades so that they are
3mm above the ground.
• Check the adjustment of the scraper bar (b). The
scraper bar (b) should be 3mm above and parallel
to the ground.
• In order to adjust the scraper bar (b), loosen the
108 dB(A)
fastening screws (a), adjust the scraper bar (b) and
tighten the fastening screws (a).
89.2 dB(A)
2 dB
Skids (Fig. 6)
• Mount both skids to the sides of the feed screw
1.84 m/s²
housing using the screws (C) M8 x 20mm (on the
outside) and M8 x 25mm (on the inside).
1.5 m/s²
• Move the skids downwards as far as possible. En-
sure that both skids are adjusted evenly.
• Tighten up the screws.
Ejection shaft (Fig. 7 + 8)
• Lubricate the underside of the ejection shaft (if not
yet lubricated).
• Mount the ejection shaft (32) above the opening
in the feed screw housing and affix it using the
screws (D).
• Affix the top lever holder (already attach to the le-
ver) to the top left side of the steering rod using a
nut and two spring washers (E).
• Lubricate the screw of the adjustment lever (36).
• Insert the screw end of the adjustment lever into
the bottom holder and secure it in place using a
washer and spring split pin (E).
Shift linkage (Fig. 9 - 11)
• Position the shifting arm (F) on the shifting brack-
et. Align the holes in the shifting arm and shifting
bracket. Fix the shifting arm in place with a dow-
el pin. (Fig. 9)
• Now attach the shift rod (c), fix it in place with a
spring split pin (G) (Fig. 10).
• Raise the shift rod (35) and loosen the counternut
beneath the pivot. Screw the pivot along the shift
rod until it fits in the hole beneath the shift lever. Fix
the whole thing in place with the nut (H). (Fig. 11)
Cutting strips (Fig. 13 + 14)
The cutting strips break up snow that is higher than
the auger housing and transport it into the auger.
Store the cutting strips on the side of the auger hous-
ing as shown in Fig. 13.
• Set the cutting strips as shown in Fig. 14. The cut-
ting strips must face forward.
Clearing blade locking lever (Fig. 1 + 10)
The clearing blade locking lever (20) is used to set
the position of the feed screw housing and the meth-
od of clearing blade operation. Move the lever to the
right, then forwards or backwards to one of the three
positions.
Transport (f): Raises the front part of the snowblow-
er. With proper care, this method can be used for
clearing snow on driveways with gravel. Additionally,
this setting can be used for transporting the snow-
blower to and from the work site.
