Windwiderstandsklassen
Die Markise verfügt über die Windwider-
standsklasse 2 und muss ab einem Wert grö-
ßer der Windstärke 5 eingefahren werden.
Die Markisenhersteller müssen ihre Produk-
te auf die Windtauglichkeit testen und die
zutreffende Windwiderstandsklasse dekla-
rieren. In der DIN EN 13561 sind entspre-
chende Windwiderstandsklassen mit den
zugeordneten Windstärken nach Beaufort
definiert. Wenn keine Prüfung erfolgt bzw.
die Windwiderstandsklasse 1 nicht erreicht
wird, muss die Markise mit der Windwider-
standsklasse 0 versehen werden.
In nachfolgender Tabelle sind die Windwi-
derstandsklassen gem. DIN EN 13561 den
bekannten Windstärken nach Beaufort zuge-
ordnet.

Wind resistance classes
The awning has a wind resistance class 2 and
must be retracted in case the wind force is
higher than 5.
The awning manufacturers must test their
products for wind resistance and declare the
correct wind resistance class. DIN EN 13561
defines corresponding wind resistance clas-
ses with their allocated wind forces accor-
ding to Beaufort. If no test has been perfor-
med and/or Wind Resistance Class 1 has not
been reached, the awning must be given
Wind Resistance Class 0.
The following table shows the wind resistan-
ce classes in accordance with DIN EN 13561
and their allocated wind forces according to
Beaufort.
