To Assemble Your Paddle
A
Two shafts are supplied in pack, check
the compatibility chart to ensure you
are using the correct shaft for your
Stand mixer.
Note: The paddle assembly nut will
come fitted to the Chef XL shaft. If
you have a Chef size Stand mixer,
remove the nut and place onto the
chef size shaft.
Place the nut onto the shaft and

turn to secure in place.
Insert the shaft into the paddle

lower part and turn clockwise to
secure. Ensure the nut is tightened.
To Assemble Your Food

Raise the mixer head.

Prior to using the attachment
remove any heat/head shield and
splashguard already fitted.

Fit the outer bowl into the mixing
bowl, by pushing down to secure.
Ensure the two handles of the outer
bowl face the front and back of the
Stand mixer.

Insert a screen. (Refer to the
recommended usage chart for
guidance on which screen and side
of screen to use).
Note: For the inner bowl to clip
into place securely, ensure that the
selected screen is aligned with the
guides of the outer bowl.

Insert the inner bowl and clip into
place.

Insert the paddle assembly into the
tool socket, push up and turn to lock
into position.
To Adjust The Height of

The Paddle
The paddle blades should flex slightly
against the screen, and the top of the
G

paddle lower part should line up with
the top of the textured section of the
inner bowl.

Unplug the Stand mixer.

Raise the mixer head and insert the
paddle assembly. Lower the mixer
head.

If the paddle needs to be adjusted,
raise the mixer head and remove the
paddle.

Using a suitable 15mm spanner
loosen the nut sufficiently to allow
adjustment of the shaft. If required,
lower the top of the paddle to align
with the textured line of the inner
bowl, turn the shaft anticlockwise.
To raise the top of the paddle turn
the shaft clockwise.

Remove the tool from the socket
and re-tighten the nut.

Re-fit the paddle to the mixer and
lower the mixer head. Check the
position is correct.

Repeat the above steps as
necessary until the tool is set
correctly. Once this is achieved,
tighten the nut securely.
Note: Spanner shown is for illustration
purposes only.
To Use Your Food Mill
Attachment

Allow cooked food to cool.

Switch to 'min'. Add up to 500g of
food at a time.

Increase the speed slowly to speed
1 or 2. Reduce the speed if splashing
occurs.

Clear the screen in between batches.
5
Unclip to handles of the inner bowl
and separate parts before cleaning.
Hints and Tips
Cook vegetables and harder fruits
prior to processing.
Allow cooked food to cool prior to
processing.
Defrost frozen fruit and vegetables
thoroughly before processing.
