- Close the frontal and lateral gratings by instal-
ling the metallic plates with the screws and
nuts available in the kit, (see B - C, pictures
14 - 15).
A tube to channel the air up to the burner can be
fixed to the snorkel with a metallic string, not sup-
plied as standard equipment.
If this kit is used, the settings of the
combustion head and of the air damper
may vary according to the length of the
air intake pipe adapter.
Use a combustion analyser to check
ATTENTION
that the quantity of CO
does not exceed the values in the table
on page 7.
use a 100 to 150 mm pipe adapter (not supplied in the kit) to use a 150 mm diameter pipe.
NOTES:
- Always try to minimize the length of the air intake pipe.
- Reduce pipe length by 3 m for every 90° elbow, 1,5 m for every 45° elbow.
- Reduce pipe length by 2 m for the 100 to 150 mm pipe adapter
- Air intake venting should be insulated 3 m from air intake source, to prevent condensation or corro-
sion of air intake venting.
- Use an approved type of air intake vacuum breaker and install it in the same room of the burner.
This device should be tested to prove that the vacuum breaker balancer is set correctly and, in the
event of intake air source being blocked, can provide enough combustion air for the burner. If the
room where the burner is installed cannot provide enough air or air quality is a concern, an additio-
nal air inlet source must be provided to this room.
- On the outside of the wall, use an approved intake air hood, located above the snow line and in
such way as to prevent leaves and/or other debris from blocking the air flow. Refer to local codes
for proper location of inlet.
