Preparation
1. Place all individual parts carefully on
the fl oor.

2. There are transport safeguards on
the mounts (9, 13). Remove them and
dispose of them.
3. Screw the base supports (2, 3) onto
the mounts (9, 13). The front base
support is marked with the letter
F (Front) and the back one with B
(Back). For assembly, use the en-
closed carriage bolts (2-1), fl at wash-
ers (2-2) and acorn nuts (2-3).
Make sure that the base supports
are placed in the correct position!
The feet (7) must be pointing down-
wards. The acorn nuts must not be
attached from below as otherwise the
training device is not able to stand
securely on the fl oor.

4. Turn the adjusting dial + / – (17) to
position 10.
5. As is shown in the pictures, plug to-
gether the wires of the middle rod and
the main unit.

6. Connect the training computer cable
(4-4) from the middle rod (4) to the
cable of the pedal mechanism (1-4) of
the main unit (1) (Picture E4).

7. Remove the premounted bolts from
the main unit (1):
– 8 x Allen bolt (1-1)
– 8 x spring washer (1-2)
– 8 x regular washer, bent (1-3)
8. Screw the cables into the main unit (1)
and plug the middle rod (4) onto the
rod of the main unit. When you do this,
make sure that neither the wire nor the
cable are squashed. Align the middle
rod so that the adjusting dial + / –
(17) is in line with the main unit.

First screw on the middle rod with the
previously removed Allen bolts (1-1),
spring washers (1-2) and bent wash-
ers (1-3) so that it is hand-tight.

9. Remove the premounted bolts from
the pedal rails (5, 6):
– 2 x Allen bolt (5-1, 6-1)
– 2 x regular washer, fl at (5 -2, 6-2)
– 2 x nut (5-3, 6-3)
10. The pedal rails are marked with the
letters L (left) and R (right). Mount the
left pedal rail on the left crank handle
and the right pedal rail on the right
crank handle. Do this using the pre-
viously removed assembly materials
and the Allen key and spanner.
Please Note!
– the right pedal rail (right-hand
thread) is tightened in the clockwise
direction,
– the left pedal rail (left-hand thread)
is tightened in the anticlockwise
direction.
NOTICE: If the pedal rails are not
attached correctly, they and the crank
handles may be damaged.

11. Remove the premounted bolts from
the axis (8):
– 2 x regular washer, fl at (8-1)
– 2 x regular washer, fl at (8-2)
– 2 x Allen bolt (8-3)
12. Guide the axis (8) through the mount
in the middle rod (4) and slide the two
handle poles (7-R, 7-L) onto the left
and right sides of the axis. The handle
poles are marked with the letters L
(left) and R (right). Fix the handle
poles on the middle rod (4) using the
fastening materials which were previ-
ously removed. Both Allen keys (14)
are required to do this.
