This bracket is designed to support a camera with long telephoto lens without a
swivel or a tripod connection.
The length of the bracket is adjustable (from 170 to 280 mm) and the integral V-
shaped rest is capable of supporting telephoto lenses of various lengths and
diameters.
The lens is held securely by means of a velcro strap.
The bracket is supplied complete with a Manfrotto Tilt Head Art 234RC which has a
quick-release plate.
In addition, on the base of the bracket there are three 3/8" and three 1/4" fixings to
adjust the camera lens centre of gravity, allowing balanced mounting of both
camera and lens.

PROCEDURE
&
1. Attach the camera with the telephoto lens to the Quick Release plate "A" using
the fixing screw "B", which should be screwed into the threaded hole on the
base of the camera.
2. Attach the Quick Release plate "A" to the Head; turning lever "C" in the direction
of the arrow (fig. 2) engages the safety mechanism which will prevent lever "D"
from being released accidentally.
3. Adjust the length of the sliding arm "E" (fig. 3) according to the type of lens you
are using by turning the sliding screw "F" but do not tighten it fully.
4. Release the head locking bracket knob "G" and adjust the angle of the swivel so
that the lens is supported by the V-shaped rest (fig. 3).
5. Tighten the head locking knob "G" and screw "F".
6. To ensure that the lens is held securely in place, tie the velcro strap "H" around
the lens (fig. 4).
7. Attach the bracket to a Head (fig. 4) or tripod via either the 1/4" or 3/8" fixings on
base of the bracket "J" so that the weight of the camera and lens is balanced.
Note: In order to release lever "D" the safety mechanism must be disengaged by
turning lever "C" in the direction of the arrow (fig. 5).

Staffa concepita per supportare fotocamera con teleobiettivo di grandi
dimensioni sprovvisto di attacco per la testa o per il treppiede.
E' regolabile in lunghezza (da 170 a 280 mm) e dotata di appoggio a "V" per
ospitare teleobiettivi di diversa lunghezza e diametro.
L'ancoraggio dell'obiettivo è assicurato da una cinghia in Velcro.
E' fornita completa di testa Manfrotto orientabile Art. 234RC, con piastra
d'attacco a sgancio rapido.
La staffa è inoltre dotata (nella base) di 3 fori filettati da 3/8" e 3 fori filettati da
1/4" che permettono il fissaggio bilanciato del gruppo fotocamera obiettivo.

OPERAZIONI
1. Fissare la fotocamera con obiettivo alla piastra d'attacco "A" avvitando la vite
d'attacco "B" nel foro filettato della fotocamera.
2. Fissare la piastra "A" alla testa: ruotando nel senso della freccia (fig. 2) la
levetta "C" si attiva la sicurezza che inibisce l'apertura accidentale della leva
"D".
3. Regolare la lunghezza del braccio scorrevole "E" (fig. 3) in funzione
dell'obiettivo utilizzato agendo sul nottolino di bloccaggio "F" senza serrare a
fondo.
4. Allentare la manopola di bloccaggio della testa "G" e regolare l'inclinazione
della testa fino ad appoggiare l'obiettivo sul profilo a "V" del supporto (fig. 3).
5. Serrare la manopola di bloccaggio "G" e il nottolino "F".
6. Assicurare l'ancoraggio legando attorno all'obiettivo la cinghia in velcro "H"
(fig. 4).
7. Fissare il supporto alla testa (fig. 4) o al treppiede scegliendo uno dei fori da
1/4" o 3/8" posti sul braccio fisso "J" in modo da bilanciare il peso.
Nota: Per liberare la leva "D" sbloccare la sicurezza ruotando nel senso della
freccia (fig. 5) la levetta "C".
