Start-up

Suitable location

– The appliance is designed for a maximum
room size of 45 m .

– Place the appliance on a level floor, on a
table or similar. Make sure that it is not at
an angle and cannot be knocked over or
against. Failure to do so may result in er-
rors.
– Distance from the walls and above should
ideally be at least 30 cm.
– The appliance should be at least 2 metres
away from appliances that emit electro-
magnetic waves (e.g. TV and radio sets,
Wi-Fi routers, cordless telephones, etc.).
Otherwise, there may be interference.
– Do not operate the appliance near gas-pow-
ered appliances, heaters or open fires.
– Do not place the appliance directly under
air conditioning units in order to prevent
condensation from dripping onto the appli-
ance.
– Do not operate the appliance in rooms with
large temperature fluctuations, as this can
lead to condensation inside the appliance.
– Only select locations which are not ex-
posed to direct sunlight.
– We recommend moving the appliance reg-
ularly. Otherwise, this could lead to soiling
on the walls and on the floor in the area
around the appliance.

Before you begin

– Read the chapter "Safety" on page EN-3.

Remove filter packing

1. Tip the filter cover (4) forward a little and
then pull it out in an upwards direction.
2. Take the H13 filter (5) out.
3. Take the Activated Carbon filter (6) out.
4. Remove the packaging film from both fil-
ters and replace the filters.
5. Insert the filter cover (4) at the bottom and
fold it closed.
6. Insert the mains plug in an easily accessi-
ble socket.
You will hear a beep and all LEDs will il-
luminate briefly. The appliance is now on
standby.
