do get in, immediately disconnect
the mains plug from the socket and
contact our service department (see
page EN-17).
■ Only insert the mains plug into the
socket if all appliance components
are completely dry.
■ Alterations and repairs to the ap-
pliance may only be carried out by
authorised specialists, such as our
service department (page EN-17). Un-
authorised repairs to the appliance
can cause property damage and per-
sonal injury, and invalidate liability
and warranty claims. Never try to re-
pair the appliance yourself.
■ Only parts corresponding to the orig-
inal appliance specifi cations may be
used for repairs.

Health risk!
Improper handling of the appliance
can be harmful to health.
■ Do not use the appliance to remove
toxic gases (e.g. carbon monoxide).
■ Do not use the appliance in spaces
where pesticides, insect sprays, etc.
are used. Otherwise, the chemical
substances could accumulate in the
fi lters and reach concentrations that
are hazardous to health.
■ Do not dispose of the fi lters by burn-
ing them, but rather throw them
away with household waste. Burning
the fi lters can be harmful to health.
Fire/explosion hazard!
■ Never use the appliance in explosive
environments.
■ Do not spray fl ammable substances
on or near the appliance.
■ Do not spray water or chemical clean-
ers such as alcohol directly onto the
appliance.

■ Lay out the supply cord in such a way
that it does not become a tripping
hazard.
Fire hazard!
If glowing ashes, burning cigarettes,
etc. get drawn into the appliance, they
may set the fi lters on fi re.
■ Keep glowing ashes, burning ciga-
rettes or matches away from the ap-
pliance.
■ Do not block the air inlet or outlet.
The appliance may overheat and
catch fi re.
